On Buckingham Palace balcony, Prince William and Kate share two kisses

Prince William and his new wife Catherine shared two kisses on a Buckingham Palace balcony this morning. The couple, who appeared shortly before 8:30 a.m. ET, waved to the crowd of well-wishers who had gathered. The new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were joined by Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Prince Harry and other members of the royal wedding party.

The couple kissed twice. The first kiss was a short, polite affair, which didn’t seem to please the crowd. William and Kate relented, kissing a second time. As the newlyweds kissed and waved, a Royal Air Force jet flew overhead.
